Preparing Young Artists for a Life Filled with Music

With a focus on developing artistry at all ages and levels of development, from the very first bow stroke to auditioning for Conservatory, the warm and principled approach of Melissa Hullman includes lessons, masterclasses, and recitals in a supportive musical environment, where students can grow and flourish. Our studio is comprised of students who are all dedicated to making music, for the love of it, whether they intend on pursuing a career in music or simply for their own development.

About Melissa

Internationally recognized violin teacher Melissa Hullman's career features appointments to the violin and viola faculty of the Peabody Institute and presentations in the US and abroad, including sessions at the ASTA National Conference, and masterclasses and teacher trainings in North and South America. The Studio  

Conveniently located in Baltimore, Maryland near the Johns Hopkins Homewood campus and Guilford, our program includes lessons, monthly studio masterclasses for older students and group classes for young students, chamber music coaching, guest masterclasses, studio concert trips, and twice-yearly recitals. Our students rehearse and perform with our professional studio pianists in lessons and at all group classes, studio masterclasses, and recitals.
